Gautam Adani Marks 40th Wedding Anniversary at Kedarnath with Labour Day Workforce Initiative

Gautam Adani celebrates his 40th wedding anniversary at Kedarnath on Labour Day, offering prayers and launching a workforce engagement initiative for 400,000 employees, blending spirituality, personal milestone, and corporate outreach.

On May 1, aligning with International Labour Day and the anniversary of his 1986 marriage, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, visited the sacred Himalayan shrine of Kedarnath Temple along with his wife Pretti to offer prayers and seek blessings for India’s progress.

Set against the backdrop of snow-covered peaks during the ongoing Char Dham Yatra season, the couple was seen dressed in traditional attire, with vermilion tilak marks on their foreheads, participating in religious rituals outside the temple premises. The visit held dual significance, marking both a personal milestone and a national observance dedicated to the workforce.

Coinciding with the occasion, Adani announced the launch of ‘Apni Baat, Apno Ke Saath,’ a direct engagement platform aimed at strengthening communication with the group’s extensive workforce of approximately 400,000 employees spanning sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and ports. The initiative is designed to foster closer interaction and dialogue between leadership and employees across the organization.

Concluding his message, Adani emphasized the importance of labor strength in national development, underscoring the role of workers in driving economic and infrastructural growth.
